Shane Hourihan, a Nurse Practitioner, offers bulk billed healthcare services to students right here on campus each Tuesday from 8:15AM to 2:15PM.

What is a Nurse Practitioner?

Nurse Practitioners are highly trained healthcare professionals with a master's-level qualification. They can prescribe medication, provide medical advice, write referrals, and offer care equivalent to a doctor. This means students will continue to receive high-quality medical support at school, ensuring their well-being remains a priority.

About Shane Hourihan:

Shane has also worked as a dentist since 2021, supporting special needs, paediatric, and Indigenous communities. His diverse background in healthcare reflects his dedication to improving health literacy and ensuring young people have access to the care they need.
