Being involved in the P&C is an opportunity to play an active part in the life of Ripley Valley State Secondary College and contribute to the continued growth of our school community.
The P&C gives parents and carers an opportunity to share ideas, provide feedback, support school initiatives and help create additional opportunities and resources for students.
You don’t need to attend every meeting or volunteer at every event to make a difference. There are different ways to contribute depending on your interests, availability and experience.
What does our P&C do?
The Ripley Valley State Secondary College P&C works alongside the College to encourage strong connections between parents, carers, the school and our wider community.
Through consultation, fundraising and community involvement, the P&C supports initiatives and additional resources that benefit students and contribute to the College.
It also provides an important avenue for parents and carers to contribute ideas and perspectives on matters affecting our school community.
Making an impact
The work of our P&C extends beyond meetings and fundraising. Through grants, projects and community support, the Association contributes to initiatives that make a lasting difference across Ripley Valley State Secondary College.
$10,000 secured for Anzac Place
In 2026, the Ripley Valley State Secondary College P&C Association was awarded $10,000 through the Australian Government’s Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program.
The funding will support the erection of plaques and construction of a new memorial at the College’s Anzac Place memorial and gardens, contributing to an important space for commemoration within our school community.
P&C meetings
P&C meetings are an opportunity to hear updates, contribute ideas and take part in discussions about the work of the Association and matters affecting the College.
Parents and carers are welcome to attend a P&C meeting before becoming a member, making it easy to come along, learn more about the Association and see how you might like to get involved.
