Ripley Valley State Secondary College opened in January 2020 with approximately 130 Year 7 and 8 students. The school will grow each year with an additional grade until 2024 with our first cohort of year 12 graduates.
The school is situated within the Ripley Valley Priority Development Area with an expected community size of 120,000 within 20 years. Ripley Valley State Secondary College is co-located with Ripley Valley Primary School forming a $120 million purpose-built education facility for the local community. The school expects to reach capacity of 1,500–1,900 within the next 5 to 10 years. Students that attend the school represent a variety of cultures and diverse socio-economic status creating a community where we can accomplish our motto 'Achieving Excellence Together'.
