Ripley Valley State Secondary College is part of the Department of Education's master-planned Building Future Schools Initiative. Located on over 14 hectares of land and at an initial cost of over $71 million in 2020, the purpose-built, architecturally designed facility boasts the latest and most modern schooling facilities in the Ipswich Region. Construction of the site commenced in February 2019, with WATPAC constructions and Stage 2 has recently been completed in 2022 by BADGE constructions.
The architecturally designed college is designed for 1600 students when it reaches capacity and the college continues to make a significant investment in student and teaching resources to ensure that it remains a modern, cutting edge learning centre.
The college boasts the only 1:1 student laptop program in the greater Ipswich Region and has a range of advanced manufacturing, IT and learning spaces that are unique to our college and not available in most schools across the state. The college also boasts eco-friendly credentials with significant solar panel power generation, natural architectural eco-design features and water saving technology.
As the college continues to grow, further building stages and innovative learning spaces will be completed as we look to remain the school of choice in the Ipswich region.
