Joining the Instrumental Music Program is a great way to meet new people and get involved in school life. At Ripley Valley SSC there are a number of opportunities available for students to play in large ensembles and smaller key focus groups. Presently the college has the following extracurricular ensembles and student interest groups:
- Concert Band
- Stage Band
- Drumline
- Percussion Ensemble
- Choir
- Prac Club
- Student formed rock/pop groups.
Students participating in the instrumental program will be charged $40 per annum. This fee contributes to the cost of running the program. Instruments are able to be hired, if they are available, for $100 per year. Instruments available for hire are Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium.
